Experiences of women in a pregnant group: a descriptive study

Pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period are events in the reproductive period of life characterized by major changes in both the physical and the psychosocial contexts. Each woman deals with these changes according to
the subjectivity and perception of her own body and of herself.

Thus, healthcare for women during this period should include attention to the physiological processes of pregnancy, as well as to offer support and welcome through the exchange of knowledge, experiences and interaction with obstetric care professionals.
